	Windows Vista/Windows 7 Installation

Solution Windows Vista and Windows 7 added a new security feature that a legacy component of Orion Outcomes needs to work around. In order to provide compatibility, Orion Outcomes offers a utility that we call "Vista Tune Up" that will adjust your system to allow Orion Outcomes to run properly.

To install Orion Outcomes on these operating systems, perform the following actions. These actions are not required for earlier versions of Windows, such as XP or 95.

1. Install Orion Outcomes version 4. Earlier versions of Orion Outcomes are not supported on these operating systems. Software is available at here. Download the Full Installer selection.

2. Depending on your specific configuration, Orion Outcomes may be ready to run at this point. Start Orion Outcomes via the icon on the Windows Start menu or desktop. If the program starts, then you are all set. If you get an error like the one pictured below, you will need to continue with the steps below.

3. Download the Vista Tune Up application from our web site here. Run this application.

4. Start Orion Outcomes via the icon on the Windows Start menu or desktop. If the program starts, then you are all set. If it does not start, then you will need to open a support ticket.
