Standardized Outcomes Tools Provide Instant Framework for Projects

Longmont, Colorado, — December 4, 2001 — Orion Software Development, a leading provider of medical outcome software solutions, today announced that its Outcome Data Management System software for Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation has been selected by the Indiana and Kentucky Medicare Peer Review Organization as the data collection & reporting tool in its AMI-Continued Care project.  This project utilizes electronic data collection at the many facilities involved and then uses the data sharing and benchmarking capabilities of the software to coordinate and report to Health Care Excel.
